About Mia Suh

Mia Suh was born in Seoul, Korea and raised in St. Louis, Missouri since age five. She received her BFA, specializing in painting at the University of Kansas under Roger Shimomura and Richard Dishinger. She studied at Brighton Polytechnic, England under George Hardy for one year concentrating on graphic design. She traveled extensively to Europe and Asia and moved to Los Angeles in 1991 where she lives and continues to paint.
